Selling an instrument and want to get top dollar?

I can give it an instrument a professional buff and detailing of parts (polish frets and other metal parts, clean and oil fretboard, clean and buff finish) to make them shine as best as possible.

Usually takes about an hour ($100) depending on depth of scratches etc so you have to think if a detailing is worth it.

I have done this on guitars returned via Reverb sales due to scratch marks the new owner didn’t like. Return shipping alone is $100+ for a guitar.

Note most light scuffs and scratches can be entirely removed. However I do not chase deep scratches in fear of sanding through the finish or color. Some guitar brands and eras have super thin finishes which can’t be touched.
